12-Hour "Boston Strong" Treadmill Run

On Monday, April 17, all eyes will be on the runners at the Boston Marathon. To celebrate the strength and determination of these athletes, Back on My Feet Chicago will host a 12-Hour Treadmill Challenge to raise money for our programs. And I invite you to be a part of the event.

In 2015, I joined Back on My Feet in New York and am so fortunate to spend time with our St. Len's team now that our family lives in Chicago. Our team members inspire me every morning we head out for a run.

Please consider making a donation to this cause as I attempt to run continuously on a treadmill for 12 hours. We'll begin at 8 am and finish after dark with updates on social media throughout the day. These updates will include personal stories of twelve team members whose lives have changed through their involvement with Back on My Feet.

Our team goal for the day is $5000 and my personal goal is $1200. Please consider a $12 donation, one for each hour of my run. Or, $60, as that's my mileage goal for the day. Or, better yet, $120.

Be sure to check in through out the day to measure our progress! This cause is very dear to me, and I'll appreciate all the support I can get! Together we can make a difference! Best - Benjamin
