We have two options for you:

1. Stay on the team!
Fundraise your minimum of $500 by 09/12/2020 in order to participate in the
2020 Broad Street Run virtual event AND bypass the 2021 BSR lottery with a
20% off registration discount. You would NOT need to fundraise in 2021.

2020 Virtual Race Benefits Here!

2. Step away from the team
We know this is a hard decision, but we understand! Alleviate yourself of fundraising obligation,
and forfeit your entry to the Broad Street Run. Should you request a charity entry in future years
to Broad Street, previous fundraising will not be counted to the new entry.

1:1 Match Deadline: 9/7/2020
Fundraising Minimum Deadline: 9/12/2020
2020 Virtual Broad Street Run #NoMatterWhat: 9/12 - 9/28/2020

As a charity runner for Back on My Feet, your fundraising is a critical commitment to our
program and to our ability to continue supporting our members and alumni as they face
already difficult challenges, only made more severe the health and economic impact of
COVID-19 and the ongoing effects of systemic racism in our country.

Last year, our charity FundRacing program raised approximately 20% of our entire
organizational budget
 – YOU are a huge part of our program and your impact is HUGE!

WE HAVE A 1:1 dollar-for-dollar MATCH, thanks to Stand Together!

That’s right – if you remain on our Broad Street Charity Team and elect to continue your fundraising
for a future entry, all NEW donations made on your new fundraising page* will be matched
dollar for dollar AND all matching funds will count toward your fundraising minimum!

Check out the Broad Street 1:1 Match Page

*All gifts up to $1,000 made by individuals on or before September 7th will be matched.
Gifts must be made online on a new fundraising page provided by Back on My Feet.

The #NoMatterWhat campaign provides our FundRacers a chance
to share with friends, family and supporters that:

"I'm running this race to support Back on My Feet #NoMatterWhat!"

Maybe you decide to train and run a 10 miler in your neighborhood 9/12 - 9/28 (and run on the streets of Philly in 2021). Maybe you work on strength training until 2021 - who knows!
With courage and dedication, you can be a part of PHL and helping our members #NoMatterWhat.

To get you to the finish line #NoMatterWhat, we have a whole new match program, new incentives,
new language to promote your fundraising efforts, and more!

It's as easy as copy-paste. We've created some sample social media and email templates
for you to use to promote your race and fundraising efforts, #NoMatterWhat!

Back on My Feet members are disproportionately affected by the health and economic
impact of COVID-19 as well as the effects of longstanding, systemic racism in America.

Nearly 70% of Back on My Feet members identify as Black, Indigenous or Persons of Color,
with approximately 45% identifying as Black or African American. Back on My Feet knows that
health, poverty, social capital and race are deeply intertwined in American society.

The Back on My Feet program works to dismantle stereotypes that persist around race and
and to help remove the many barriers our members face on a path to social and economic
well-being. Our members - individuals experiencing homelessness – face outsized risks in the face of
COVID-19, as do our Alumni, many of whom have been laid off or furloughed.

But our members are pressing on – and we’re pressing on with them!

Your support now helps this vulnerable population keep a supportive
community and maintain a path to stability.

Check out our social media posts for sample language to contextualize
supporting Back on My Feet now. And, see here for Back on My Feet’s stance on the
Black Lives Matter movement and our commitment to do more.
