Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Back on My Feet! I will be taking on the legendary Boston Marathon on April 20, 2020.
Over the next few months, I will be vigorously training through the winter in Boston, while simultaneously raising funds for Back on My Feet (BoMF): an organization that combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. This cause is very dear to me. I’ve seen what it can do for people firsthand, and I'll appreciate all the support I can get!
I've been living in Boston now for many years, and it still does not cease to shock me to see the number of homeless people out on the streets, even in the middle of the frigid winter. It's truly heartbreaking, and I can give them spare change or my food that I may not have finished, but I still wish I could help more. Through your donations to my fundraiser for Back on My Feet, together WE CAN help more! To give you an idea of the impact your donation could have:
$1,000 can provide a security deposit for an apartment.
$500 helps someone gain a certification for employment.
$250 can provide a bed in a new home, offering rest after a long day’s work.
